NJ v. NEULANDER (2002)

Rabbi Fred Neulander is on retrial for allegedly plotting his wife’s 1994 murder. Neulander, founder of one of New Jersey’s largest synagogues, is accused of hiring two men to bludgeon his wife Carol to death in their home so he could continue an affair with a local radio host. Neulander’s first trial ended in November 2001 when a jury could not reach a unanimous verdict.
