MIAMI (Court TV) — OnlyFans model Courtney Clenney has been extradited to Florida and denied bond on a charge of second-degree murder, according to jail records.
Online records show Clenney was booked into Miami’s Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center Friday, Aug. 26. The 26-year-old was first arrested Aug. 10 in Hawaii with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Prosecutors accuse Clenney of fatally stabbing her boyfriend, 27-year-old Christian Obumseli, on April 3 at an apartment they shared in Miami. An arrest warrant states, “Evidence obtained showed (Clenney) and (Obumseli) had a tempestuous relationship since November of 2020, with multiple incidents of domestic violence from both sides over the period of the relationship.”
Earlier this month, prosecutors released surveillance video of Clenney and Obumseli arguing inside the elevator of their apartment building Feb. 21, 2022.
Clenney admitted to stabbing Obumseli, but claimed her actions were in self-defense. She told investigators she “armed herself with a knife” after Obumseli allegedly shoved her against a wall and threw her to the ground. An arrest warrant documents Clenney’s claim that her boyfriend was stabbed after she threw the knife at him “from a distance in excess of 10 feet.” A medical examiner determined that throwing a knife from that distance would not have caused a fatal wound.
