The sister-in-law of an Idaho man accused of concealing the remains of his wife’s children has penned a letter to their church community.
Heather Daybell is the wife of Chad Daybell’s brother, Matt. She is also a leader in her local “stake,” which is a group of Mormon congregations. Her August 12th letter was sent to stake members in Fremont and Madison counties, where Chad Daybell and Lori Vallow-Daybell are facing charges surrounding the disappearances and found remains of 17-year-old Tylee Ryan and 7-year-old “JJ” Vallow.
In the letter, Heather Daybell describes how Chad Daybell’s beliefs and alleged crimes have impacted their family.
