Heard, 34, describes her 57-year-old ex-husband’s physical abuse as: “punching, slapping, kicking, head-butting and choking me, as well as throwing me into things, pulling me by my hair, and shoving me or pushing me to the ground.”

In addition to the alleged physical abuse, Heard claims her ex-husband would also verbally abuse her and even make her fear for her life.

“As I talk about in this statement, some incidents were so severe that I was afraid he was going to kill me, either intentionally or just by losing control and going too far. He explicitly threatened to kill me many times, especially later in our relationship. ”

Heard said Depp would often shift blame for his abusive behavior on a third party he referred to as “the monster”. “He would speak about it as if it was another person or personality and not him doing all these things,” she said.

From extreme jealousy of other actors and actresses she would work and audition with, to extremely paranoid and controlling behavior, Heard recounts years of their relationship problems ahead of her testimony in court.

“He accused me of having affairs with each of my co-stars, movie after movie: Eddie Redmayne, James Franco, Jim Sturgess, Kevin Costner, Liam Hemsworth, BillyBob Thornton, Channing Tatum; even women co-stars like Kelly Garner. He also accused me of having affairs with stars I auditioned with, like Leonardo DiCaprio. He would taunt me about it – especially when he was drunk or high – and had derogatory nicknames for every one of my male co-stars he considered a sexual threat. For example, Leonardo DiCaprio was “pumpkin-head”, Channing Tatum was “potato-head” and “Jim Turd Sturgess.”

Multiple witnesses accused Heard of a “twisted” story of sexual abuse accusations against her ex-husband.

Depp also painted a very different picture of the marriage during his testimony, where his ex-wife was the abuser. The Sun’s defense is based on a total of 14 allegations by Heard of Depp’s violence between 2013 and 2016. He strongly denies all of them.
